The President's Reception took place last night in the magnificent Round Room of the Museum and Art Gallery.
After a busy day attending numerous scientific and professional lectures, and taking in huge volumes of information delegates took the opportunity to get together, relax and enjoy the hospitality.
Before eating dinner biomedical scientists were able to network and socialise as well as wander round to enjoy some of the cabinet displays of glassware and stained glass, works of art and stautues. Delegates were also allowed access to visit a display room with pieces from the recently discovered haul of Anglo-Saxon treasure found buried in a field in Staffordshire.
