Hippocrates, a Greek philosopher and physician, 460-377 BC laid the foundations of medicine becoming known as the Father of modern medicine.
The Hippocratic Oath has been adopted by many institutes such as the GMC and NMC. This seminar will look in particular at the ideal of beneficence (to do good or avoid evil) and non malfeasance (to do no harm) towards breast cancer patients.
Looking at how patients are affected by our actions and how their decisions can be supported to within a medical world.
