Real-time molecular biology technology

Cepheid will be on hand to demonstrate how fast it is now possible to detect the presence of Staphylococcus aureus (both MRSA and MSSA). During Congress, the company's technology will be
running in real time to demonstrate the power of cutting-edge molecular biology technology.

Know what to do in a crisis

First Aid Training: practical two hour training sessions running throughout Congress on basic life support. Trainees will get hands-on practice in techniques, CPD points and a certificate. The life that you save could be the one that is important to you.

Congress Health Check

Following the success of the Congress Health Check in 2009, Roche are once again delighted to be supporting the IBMS Congress Health Check initiative by offering blood glucose and blood pressure testing on stand 968 in Hall 4. We look forward to seeing you there.

Basic Life Support Training

Basic life support is the ABC of life saving. It involves airway management (A) and the provision of respiratory (B) and circulatory function (C) for the unconscious casualty. This is supported by an introduction to the use of the automatic external defibrillator (AED). more >>
